Lesly Wilkins | Perry County NewsTELL CITY- The Tell City Class of 2025 is a class with a lot of stamina, grit and potential. There are so many phenomenal athletes within this class. They are hardworking, fun loving, and extremely adaptable. They have already overcome so much.

The Waupaca Foundry Stephan Lochner Memorial Scholarship recipient is Chase Stephens and was presented by Gary Greubel in the amount of $1,500.
This particular class had to continually adapt to change from not being able to participate in extracurricular activities in middle school because of covid, having to learn to wear masks, having to learn how to socially distance themselves and then having to relearn how to mingle with others again. No matter what life stresses have continually been thrown at them, they always fight to overcome, adapt, and prevail.
So, their ability to cope with the unknown and change courses when obstacles are set in their path is a coping mechanism that will equip them with the flexibility that will enable them to overcome adversity and do great things.
My advice for this particular class is to continue to forge all battles with your steadfast strengths. Forget all insults received and remember all the compliments. This, in turn, will allow you to actualize your full potential. After all, this is a class that is adored, admired, and highly valued.
The class of 2025 is so full of hope and promise and they will continue to overcome challenging obstacles, learn innovative ways to transcend their circumstances and do so many extraordinary things.
